The Typing of the Dead 2 (ザ・タイピング・オブ・ザ・デッド 2) is the sequel to The Typing of the Dead, released for Windows PCs in 2008. It is based heavily on The House of the Dead III, replacing the light gun controls with that of a keyboard.

- Operating system: Windows XP
- CPU: Pentium 3 1GHz
- Memory: 128MB of RAM
- Hard drive: 550MB of free disk space
- Graphics hardware: 64MB VRAM
How to Play:
- Download and extract with 7zip.
- Mount ISO with Daemon Tools or similar.
- Install with Setup.exe
- Go into the ISO files /crack/ install the update (tod2update101.exe).
- Copy tod2.exe from /crack/ to install directory (overwrite original).
- Extract the game folder from the archive where you want.
- Run tod2.exe to play the game
Notes:
- To play, you need to use “Quick Game” (<-left menu) instead of “Start Game”, since for whatever reason you can’t go past the file select in the latter.
- If you want the Japanese letters to display correctly ingame, you need to install AppLocale and then just right click tod2.exe -> Locale Emulator -> Run in Japanese.
