Bajirao Mastani is an Indian recorded sentiment film created and coordinated by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film portrays the tale of the Maratha warrior Peshwa (Prime Minister) Bajirao I of the Maratha Empire and his second wife Mastani. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone depict the main heroes, and Priyanka Chopra plays Bajirao’s first wife Kashibai.Bajirao Mastani recounts the tale about Baji Rao Ballal Balaji Bhat, broadly known as Baji Rao I(played by Ranveer Singh), who was a valiant warrior whose combat zone jokes won him incredible honors and acclaim from the whole gang. Much like his prominence on field, his own life too was the focal point of fascination and his disputable adoration existence with Mastani (Deepika Padukone) is the highlight of the film.

Music by Bhansali is tuneful particularly combined with very much executed choreography in ‘Deewani Mastani’, ‘Albela Sajan’ and “Pinga” ( this one will help you to remember Dola Re from Devdas). The physical beauty and real acting talent of the three leads rises this to just above sud-level. Its central message that 'all religions preach love, but love has no religion' is to be commended, especially since it is still so pertinent to India today.
The central pair of defiant lovers are never particularly convincing as convention-busters, nor are they as appealing as the rooms they inhabit or the clothes they wear.
The film feels overly ceremonious, purposefully epic and, in places, a little exhausting. But hang in there. Because slowly and skillfully, Bajirao Mastani transports you.
It can be a good one-time watch, for Deepika's performance, if not anything else.
It left me strangely underwhelmed.
Singh's performance is an unmistakable triumph.
The film does drag a little, but the opulence makes it all worthwhile.
Singh's bullet-headed Bajirao, forever charging into uncharted physical and emotional terrain, marks another fine showing from one of Bollywood's most versatile leads: we spot exactly why this bad boy commands the loyalty, even lust he does.
